About Us

F.A.Q

Q: When is GeekGirlCONLINE ‘21?
GeekGirlCONLINE ‘21 will happen virtually on the weekend of November 13 and 14.

Q: How much does it cost to participate in GeekGirlCONLINE ‘21?
GeekGirlCONLINE ‘21 is absolutely FREE and open to everyone who would like to attend.

Q: Why isn’t the con in person this year?
GeekGirlCon’s absolute top priority is the health and safety of our whole community. Because the risk of spreading or contracting COVID is still very real—and particularly for those of us who are disabled and/or immunocompromised, are from communities that have not had equitable access to vaccines, or are young kids who aren’t approved for vaccines—we’ve decided to keep things virtual again this year.

Q: Where can I watch GeekGirlCONLINE 21?
Programming will premiere on the GeekGirlCon Twitch channel. Follow us at twitch.tv/geekgirlcon and tune in!

Please note that you must be 13 or older to sign up for a Twitch account. Anyone can watch Twitch streams, but you will not be able to comment along and chat with your fellow geeks unless you’re logged into an account. After streaming on Twitch, most events will be reposted on GeekGirlCon’s Youtube channel.

Q: How do I find out which specific events are happening on which days?
Sign up for the GeekGirlCon newsletter, which includes updates for GeekGirlCONLINE ‘21, for the most up to date information! You can also follow us on social media for additional updates and announcements: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Q: Can I buy GeekGirlCONLINE ‘21 merch?
We won’t have specific GeekGirlCONLINE ‘21 merch this year, but if you’re looking for a souvenir, check out all the awesome vendors selling through our Virtual Expo Hall.

Q: Can I visit/shop the Virtual Expo Hall even if I don’t participate in GeekGirlCONLINE ‘21?
Yes, please do! You can visit the Virtual Expo Hall during GeekGirlCONLINE ‘21 and through the end of December. The Expo Hall website will be announced at the start of the event.

Q: Can I submit programming to GeekGirlCONLINE ‘21?
Our exceptional Programming Team will be curating the content for this year’s event, so we won’t be accepting programming submissions. Please email geekgirlconline@geekgirlcon.com if you have any questions.

Q: Where can I submit an application to be featured in the Virtual Expo Hall?
Exhibitor applications can be submitted here.

Q: Are there still opportunities to volunteer at GeekGirlCon this year?
If you are interested in joining the team for year-round fun, there are plenty of open GeekGirlCon volunteer staff positions.

Q: Will there be an in-person GeekGirlCon in 2022?
The safety of our attendees, contributors, exhibitors, and volunteers is our top priority. We plan to continue monitoring health and safety guidelines. As soon as we know more, we’ll be sure to share that with y’all, so follow us on social for the most timely updates.

Q: I’m wondering about something else?
Please email geekgirlconline@geekgirlcon.com with any other questions!
