Bluewater Productions Shares Secrets of Comic Books in the Digital Age
On Wednesday, April 18th at 6:00 p.m., GeekGirlCon and the Association for Women in Computing join forces to host another fantastic event. Darren G. Davis, publisher of Bluewater Productions, will discuss the release of his Bill Gates comic book and give you greater insight into how the Nook and the Kindle are changing the comic book industry.
From the AWC event page:
Comic books have made a large impact on the lives of many. Once thought of as a kids’ medium, comics have evolved into a creative, multi-billion dollar industry featuring many of our cultural touchstones and technological heroes.
Whether you are looking to create a comic book or you are just curious about the process, this program is for you. Darren will unravel the mystery of how comic books are made, from character development to scripting to distribution. Darren will also show you how to use a comic book platform to educate as well as to entertain. Darren publishes a comic book series on female empowerment, and he is currently searching for a businesswoman to feature in an upcoming book.
For some appetizers and the presentation of a life time, head on down to Seattle’s Evanston Building on April 18th at 6 pm!
