GeekGirlCONLINE is officially live, and so are our virtual expo hall and official merch shop! All. Month. Long!
Even though we can’t be together in person, that doesn’t mean that we can’t peruse the amazing exhibitors that have gathered together in our virtual expo hall. We have even categorized the exhibitors for your shopping convenience. Want to support a POC owned business? We got that. Is your favorite thing to buy at a con some cool original art? We got that too! Click here to shop our incredible list of virtual exhibitors.
We also have some crazy cool GeekGirlCon 2020 merch available, designed by none other than Ragon Dickard! Guys, this merch is so amazingly perfect for all that is GGC, so be sure to check it out here.
Such a huge part of attending any con—as I’m sure y’all know—is spending hours looking through all of the amazing exhibitors who bring their breathtaking work to us year after year. I’m sure we all agree that it’s one of our favorite ways to support independent creators.
While we can’t convene in person, we still fully intend to recreate that pivotal experience with our Virtual Expo Hall.
Launching in October, our virtual marketplace will play host to over 100 unique exhibitors. Our team is currently working hard to prepare a seamless digital browsing experience for all of us, so stay tuned for more updates as we near GeekGirlCONLINE.
While our team is in the midst of putting together the finishing touches for #GGCOnline, we wanted to take a moment and share our weekly themes!
Each week during the month of October, our content will revolve around a uniform theme from Arts & Literature, Comics, Gaming, to Science & Technology! As we get closer to the beginning of the month, we’ll share our finalized schedule.
Stay tuned for more information on #GGCOnline! We’ll be sharing more details in the coming days about all of the content you can expect to see this October, including our full schedule, some unique merch, and some very special guests.
GeekGirlCONLINE is less than a month away, and although the con will be a bit different this year with totally virtual panels, workshops, and livestreams all October long, the one thing that isn’t changing is our reliance on volunteers & donations to fulfill our mission to support, empower, and celebrate women, girls & other marginalized fans in all areas of geekdom.
As you get hyped for what will, presumably, be the best virtual con of all time, please consider supporting the GGC mission with a one-time or monthly donation. Your gift will not only help us make GeekGirlCONLINE a success, it will also fuel GGC 2021—our 10th anniversary con (and, presumably, the best in-person con of all time).

We know this year has been difficult for many, and we want you to know that we appreciate your love and support regardless of whether or not you’re able to donate. GeekGirlCon exists because of this community, and we can’t wait for you to see what we have in store next month!
Now that Labor Day has come and gone, summer is officially over. Fall is fast approaching, and with it comes the awesome virtual party that we are calling GeekGirlCONLINE!
For anyone who didn’t hear, we are moving GGC to a totally virtual experience for 2020. We are so excited to explore this new way to bring content to our community and we are committed to making GGC as accessible as it can possibly be.
GeekGirlCONLINE is a totally new experience, and we are planning to bring you content through the entire month of October. We will be bringing you panels, workshops, and livestreams focused on a weekly theme.
We will be announcing programming in the coming weeks, so check back often to see what we have planned! Stay in the know by subscribing to our blog or following us on social media.
To best support the safety and comfort of our attendees, contributors, and staff, we are postponing GeekGirlCon until 2021. Though this is a disappointing reality, the health of the GeekGirlCon community is, and will always be, our top priority. We’ll be back up and running to celebrate our tenth anniversary in person next year, and we’ll announce dates and other updates as soon as we’re able.
In the meantime, we have some exciting news to share. In the absence of a physical convention this fall, we’re going digital with a new event debuting this fall: GeekGirlCONLINE
While we’re still in the early stages of planning this event, we’re so excited to continue our journey and find new ways to connect with our community in an ever-changing world. We’re excited to celebrate a very geeky, jam-packed month with you this upcoming October. Stay tuned for updates about how to participate in GeekGirlCONLINE in the coming weeks!
We’re busy planning both GeekGirlCONLINE as well as our 10th Anniversary Celebration for 2021. Our team will reach out directly to passholders and programming applicants as follows:
