GeekGirlCon and the EC Geek Girls Team Up for a Flashmob, Lunch, and Pinball

Seattle, WA, February 2011 – Attending Emerald City Comicon in Seattle March 4th-6th and looking for geeky women and their supporters to hang out with? GeekGirlCon, an organization supporting all types of geeky women, and the EC Geek Girls have several events for you on Saturday, March 5th.

Flashmob: Saturday, March 5 at 11:00AM in the lobby of the Washington State Convention & Trade Centre at Pike Street and 8th Avenue in Seattle, the EC Geek Girls will be kicking the festivities off with a flashmob. They have choreographed a dance celebrating women in geek and gamer culture set to a song by Team Unicorn. We encourage everyone to participate in the flashmob to make it memorable. Lunch and Pinball: Saturday, March 5th from noon-1:30pm, GeekGirlCon will be hosting lunch and pinball at Shorty’s, Seattle’s pinball arcade bar, 2222 2nd Avenue # A, Seattle. Come hang out with fellow geeks, eat lunch, and challenge someone to a pinball game. Shorty’s is 21 and over so don’t forget your ID, and we don’t mean your Avengers’ card.
