Console Free Play

Console Free Play returns to GeekGirlCon. Featuring current console hits and throwback gaming, we have something fun for all video game geeks. Bring a friend or make some new ones!We have two exciting locations for gaming this year! You can find video games and the Let’s Play stage on Level 3 Tahoma at the top of the escalator, and tabletop Games are just around the corner behind the Main Stage!

Microsoft Devices Outreach

Hang out with some of the team that engineer consoles, controllers, and computers that we use to play our video games! The Microsoft Devices Outreach team be on the games floor to give you an “inside look” at how these devices are made.

Join game companies and reps as they demo their creations on the Game Floor. Play a classic or learn about your new favorite. Tables are color-coded based on the type of game: 
Green = RPG 
Blue = Card/Board/Dice

Checkout a game at the board game library—brought to you by Mox Boarding House! Looking for someone to play with? This year we’ve added “Looking for Players” cones that you can take to a Free Play table to find a group of new friends to play with!

Tournaments

Check out the schedule for Tabletop Tutorials and Tournaments! We invite everyone to participate in our tournaments, regardless of experience, so we start with a tutorial and practice rounds. If a tournament catches your eye, sign up at the Game Info Booth! If you already know how to play, our agents will let you know the specific tournament kick-off time or you can show up early and help others learn!

Funko Games In the Funkoverse Strategy Game, combine your favorite characters and go head-to-head in exciting game scenarios. Use your characters’ unique abilities to gain points and achieve victory!
GeekGirlScouts Bring your compass, sash, and sense of adventure as you explore an exciting gaming experience designed and facilitated by the Girl Scouts of Western Washington!
Green Ronin Publishing Green Ronin Publishing is a Seattle based company dedicated to the art of great games. Haiduc LLC Haiduc is a medium agnostic, narrative-driven studio and small press that is currently working on Starry Messengers the RPG.
Indie Games on Demand NW

Indie Games on Demand is back at GeekGirlCon to play tabletop role playing games with you! Come drop in for one of our all-ages indie game sessions on the tabletop gaming floor and tell a story with some new friends.

More Like This Industries More Like This Industries is a small company centered on writing, gaming, art, and other similar projects. It is owned and run by two LGBTQ+ women who love gaming and geeky things. Our current project is a novel series set in the Scarred Lands D20 game setting from Onyx Path publishing. We also run games based on the setting.
One Hit Wonders Come play One Hit Wonders, a passed-hand set collection game by Norwester Games. You must enlist musicians of diverse genres to form a high-scoring super group, all while trying to keep your band name and song title from spiraling out of control.
Outsider Comics and Geek Boutique Outsider Comics is back to host a variety of RPGs with an eye towards inclusivity, learning and having fun. We follow “The Rule of Cool” which reminds us to focus not on the rules and stats of the game, but on the fun we make together, exploring, adventuring and developing interesting characters. Beginners are especially welcome, but there should be fun for players of all types. Come with a lvl 1 character or just bring yourself! We’ll have pregenerated characters available for use.
PlaytestNW PlaytestNW is a collective of designers with the sole mission of bringing enjoyment through tabletop games and game design to the masses. Our playtestNW events bring eager playtesters, gamers, and game designers together to playtest and build great games together. Join us at GeekGirlCon to playtest games by local designers!
Psy Kids! Work together to defeat the Nightmares who have escaped into our world! In this cooperative dice-rolling game, you’ll need to manage your school life while trying to save the world!
Paws and Padlocks A family-friend dungeon crawler where you build the board as you go! Can you escape with your treasure, or will you be trapped in Slime Castle forever?
Pathfinder Society

Join local Pathfinder Society members for an introduction to the Pathfinder RPG, an evolution of the world’s oldest fantasy RPG, and the genre of d20 roleplaying games. We’ll provide the supplies! With strict policies against bullying, Pathfinder Society groups provide a fun, welcoming environment for roleplayers of all ages.
Persist the Game Persist the Game celebrates life from the female perspective as a witty, tongue-in-cheek card game that calls BS on society’s gender expectations and celebrates strong women, while covering topics from Pap Smears to PHD’s. Persist invites women to laugh, learn and connect. Featured in Forbes, Marie Claire, and Kickstarter funded.
RPGs with Andy Andy is back once again to facilitate the learning and playing of some rather wonderful RPGS! New players and seasoned adventurers are welcome. Check out Tabletop Info for times and more details.

Seattle Go Center Seattle Go Center, a local non profit, teaches and promotes the ancient board game called Go (a.k.a. Baduk or Weiqi). Go is a “complete knowledge” strategy board game with no hidden information and no element of chance. Steve Jackson Games Steve Jackson Games, based in Austin, Texas, has been publishing games, game books, and magazines since 1980. SJ Games recently released the Munchkin Collectible Card Game, based on its best-selling game Munchkin! Other top sellers are Simon’s Cat Card Game, Zombie Dice, and Illuminati.
