Happy Holidays from the GGC Family
This year proved to be a challenge in unexpected ways, but I’m so proud that we’ve made it this far—that we found solace as a community, that we persevered and kept going. We did it together, and we will continue to push forward together.
I wanted to let you know that we’ll be taking a brief hiatus on the blog until January 24th to rest and recuperate so that we can hit the ground running in our planning of GeekGirlCon 2021—however that may manifest! As the world pushes forward and overcomes this pandemic, we will continue to stand with and support our community to the best of our ability. We’re not sure how this will look quite yet, but we’ll keep you informed along the way.
2020 marked our tenth anniversary, but we opted to hold off on those celebrations until we’re able to see you all again in person (safely!) Knowing that someday soon we’ll be able to reunite in the heart of downtown Seattle keeps us going. We will continue to plan and adapt, and we are so grateful for our community’s love, patience, and understanding while we do so. You are the reason we’re here.
From our family at GeekGirlCon, we wish you the happiest of holiday seasons—no matter what you celebrate. We hope you take the next couple of weeks to rest, celebrate your successes, and reflect on the last twelve months.
With love,
Indigo, Manager of Editorial
& the entire GeekGirlCon Family
