Help Geek Girl Con Build A Guild

Whether paladin, mage, hunter, or just a n00b, you can help GeekGirlCon choose a faction, a rockin’ name, and a stylin’ tabard for our new WoW Guild!

Will the GeekGirlCon guild go Alliance or Horde? Cast your vote on our Facebook Poll here.

GUILD NAME AND TABARD SUBMISSIONS:

Visit the GeekGirlCon Facebook page to suggest a GUILD NAME and create a GUILD TABARD.

To suggest a GUILD NAME: Simply post your suggestion on the wall for this event following the guidelines below.

  • Limit the guild names to 24 characters, including spaces
  • DO NOT violate Blizzard’s Code of Conduct for guild names outlined here (Section A)
  • Aim for gender-inclusive names*
  • Submit before 11:59pm PST on Thursday, June 30th**

*While this is GeekGirlCon’s Guild, males and male characters are welcome. We want everyone to feel included in the guild’s name.

**The winning faction will be announced on Thursday, June 16th for anyone wanting to submit faction-specific guild names.

To submit a TABARD DESIGN, visit the in-game tabard designer (near the guild master in any major city) and play with the tabard designs until you create the most awesome tabard design ever! (You can also use IGN’s tabard designer outside of WoW.) Send a screenshot of your awesome design to facebook@geekgirlcon before 11:59pm PST on Thursday, June 30th and we will create an album of tabards. (Pics will be added to the album as they come in, so give your design time rack up the “Likes.”)

VOTING: To vote, “Like” your favorite name submissions on the event wall and your favorite tabard submissions in the tabard album. Voting closes June 30th at 11:59 PST, so be sure to give you submission a chance and post early. One submission from the top 3 “like-getters” of both contests will be selected by GeekGirlCon staff as the official guild name and tabard. The winner of each contest will receive a GeekGirlCon Button Pack and, of course, bragging rights.

The winning guild name and tabard will be announced on Friday, July 15th.
