GGC COVID-19 Policies
After careful consideration, we’ve updated our health and safety protocols for GeekGirlCon ’25. While masks will no longer be required, we strongly encourage all attendees 5 and over to wear masks covering nose and mouth inside the conference center. We will once again be providing masks at the event.
We understand community concern with regard to the change. After 3 years of hosting a fully masked con, this was not a decision we took lightly.
Though masks will no longer be mandatory at our event, this does not mean it will be a mask-free environment. Our staff, volunteers, and venue staff are continuing to wear masks, and we anticipate many attendees will choose to do so as well. We are continuing to provide complimentary KN95 masks at the entrance and various other locations throughout the event.
We understand that this decision may affect individuals in different ways. We will continue to host local events outside of our annual convention that are fully masked, and are dedicated to providing free access to the 2025 con through Twitch live streaming.
Our full COVID-19 policy is here. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to communityprotection@geekgirlcon.com if you have any questions or concerns!
