Mew!

Sorry, no actual kittens will be accepted or appear in our swag bags. But this one is really cute.

GeekGirlCon is right around the corner, and we’ll be assembling our swag bags in September! Do you have promotional material you’d like to include? Promotional product must be received by September 26th, 2011. We’re anticipating roughly 1,100+ attendees, so please adjust quantities accordingly.

Promotional material can be sent to our address:

Attn: Swag Bags

  1. Hi – Silicon Sisters would like to make something for you swag bag – maybe a chocolate bar with a QR code or something? Is there a fee, or do you just want good swag?

    • tammy_vince_cruz says:

Hello Brenda! There is no fee. The only thing to keep in mind is that there may be some food allergies for some of our participants. If that’s the case, we ask that the food content is properly labeled. Thank you so much for you support!

  2. Shannon says:

Hi! Lake Washington Girls Middle School would love to offer something – like a cool button or sticker. Would you accept something from a Girls School…that promotes the love of “geeks” of all kinds (and much more seriously, STEM fields)? 🙂

    • tammy_vince_cruz says:

      Hello Shannon!

But of course! 🙂 Especially since you promote STEM fields! We look forward to the swag you send our way!

  3. So excited! We are gonna send you guys some bookmarks 🙂

  4. Sally Rose says:

Great! Will get you some flyers or bookmarks as soon as possible! Thanks!

  5. Eleri Hamilton says:

Our printer swears they’ll have them to us by the 24th o.O

  6. Heidi says:

Is it too late to send some things in? We don’t have enough pins for all the bags, so would you put them in a random selection, or will you only take things if we send enough for everyone? (I wish I could be there, but can’t travel during Yom Kippur.)

    • tammy_vince_cruz says:

No, it isn’t too late! The 26th is the deadline, and you can supply however much you would like. The bags will be filled just in order of what we receive. 🙂

  7. E. Van Lowe says:

    Hi,

I’m E, author of Never Slow Dance With A Zombie and Boyfriend From Hell. I’d love to send you guys some bookmarks for both books, but you may have an overabundance of bookmarks already. Let me know what you think.

  8. I would like to send stickers, are there any issues with them? I know some venues would rather not have them around…

  9. Wendy Prather says:

Are the swag bags an all-ages type of thing?

  10. Daphne Lage says:

Are actual comics okay for the swag bag? Thanks!

  11. Keri Grassl says:

If we hand deliver the swag, where would we deliver it to? Can packages arrive the day of the 26th and still make it into the bags? I have a foldy comic for you!

    • tammy_vince_cruz says:

Which is more convenient for you? Seattle-ish, or Tacoma-ish? Let me know, and I can e-mail you a couple of addresses to drop off swag. 🙂 Thank you! Yay for foldy comics!

      • Eleri Hamilton says:

Tammy, can you email me Seattle-ish addresses, too? Our stuff arrived, but I’m not sure if I can get them back in the mail in time. Hand delivering would prob’ly be easier. Or I can throw myself on the sword of helping stuff bags 🙂

  12. Hi! I hope the bookmarks (for my webcomic, Curls) arrive on time. I already sent them parcel post (slower way of mailing). Try to let me know if you get them… should be right around the deadline. Thank you so much for this opportunity.

If there be any leftovers (for all of our swag), please consider donating to a local library or comic book store. Thank you.

    • tammy_vince_cruz says:

Great! We’ll definitely keep an eye out for them! Love the excess suggestion; fabulous idea. Thank you for sending your bookmarks!
